Timo Makela on E-waste
e-waste is not a waste but an important resource, the precious metals or the rare earth metals
We can't have our own computers and mobile phones without those materials , and prices of raw materials are going up all the time
So, wasting of metals by dumping it is a sign of scarcity, of the storage.
Price will no go up if there is no shortage , so , it becomes increasingly beneficial to recycle
Timo Makela is the director of international affairs, European union.
