SUPERLATIVES
An adjective or a superlative adverb expresses the highest degree of a specific quality. In most cases, superlatives are used by adding EST at the end of the word.

In some cases the last letter of the word is repeated, before adding EST.

To form the superlative of most adjectives and adverbs that have more than two syllables and many that only have two, we put THE MOST
