The colour scheme I want for my app is one, which suits the theme. Some colours that I have in mind are red, maroon and cream.
If the audience like my colour scheme, font style and size, the user interface, features and my efforts to make the app interactive and user-friendly, it would be a success.

SUCCESS CRITERION
My product will be free of cost. I am not using any software that costs me an amount of money.
A free app development software doesn’t only help me create my app to solve its purpose, but also saves my resources.
From the audience’s context, the app will be free of cost. It does not involve any in-app purchases too.
I want to keep the app free of cost, as the sole purpose of it is to reach as many people as possible. Keeping a cost to it will destroy its purpose.
If I’m able to create my app, without any additional costs and in-app purchases for the user, it would be a success.
There is no testing required for this, as this is already tested since I won’t require additional money to reach my goal. However, I will review it after the creation of the product as well.
DESIGN SPECIFICATION
As specified in criterion A, my product is for the vulnerable accident survivors who are confused, need help to recover and treat themselves when no aid is around. The solution presented by me will cater to the accident victims on Sohna road, especially the senior citizens. My clients, my grandparents, who recently faced a road accident will help me design this app.
JUSTIFICATION
As my app helps in the aftermath of a road accident, my choice of target audience as well as my clients, are justified.
SUCCESS CRITERION
If my app is proven useful for my target audience, it will be considered as a success.
I will test this through providing the product to my clients, so that they can experience what the app can do, and give feedback as well.
DESIGN SPECIFICATION
When downloaded, the app will release no viruses or security threats that might hurt the user or his phone’s environment. It will be my responsibility to remove any such malicious threats during the creation.

SUCCESS CRITERION
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
The material required by me is my laptop, an internet connection and the app development tool that I would be using.
This is justified as it shows all the necessary things that will be needed in order to achieve the creation of my product.
If my app is able to turn out well using these material, my app can be considered successful.
This will be tested throughout the entire duration of this project, as all of these resources will definitely be needed by me in order to achieve my goal.

DESIGN SPECIFICATION
The main function of this app is that it helps these victims to contact their close ones and helps them get an assistant who can drop them off to the nearest hospital.
In context of screens, there will be 7 screens to be incorporated in this app. The first is the home screen, which includes the app name (MediFriend) and logo. The second is the login page, which has an option of signing up, in case the user isn’t registered. Screen 3 would be the main page, which includes a map showing the no. of volunteers within their 10 km radius. It also includes the SOS button. Screen 4 is the profile page, in which the user can add or edit their personal information. Screen 5 is an about us page and the 6th one is the contact us page, which also asks for volunteer sign up.
This is justified as this is how I will present my research in this app.
There is also only one main page, which the user would using most of the time, to make it easy for the senior citizens. The sign up page would be only used once, during registration. The user might not have time to login again in the time of crisis. As we require assistants too, the volunteer sign-up page is also justified.
If the my app is able to meet its purpose and its functionality matches the specifications stated here, this app will be a success.
Its functionality will also be tested both during and after the creation process. It will also be tested by the clients and during the performance testing.
The file size of my app should be no greater than 200 mb, and the resolution size should be 720px x 1280px.
This is important to point out as when the app is required, it shouldn't be too large that it causes glitches or even refuses to be downloaded. Making it unusable makes it pointless to download in the first place.
If the audience do not find my app too heavy and the app helps the victims in an emergency, my app would be considered successful.
I will test and examine this in particular throughout the creation of the game.
JUSTIFICATION
SUCCESS CRITERION
As mentioned earlier, the purpose of the app is that when in emergency, the app should be available to contact and notify people. However, if the app stops working or releases some kind of a virus, the whole purpose is defeated.
If my app does not hurt the environment of the user or their mobile phones and all these specifications are kept in mind, this app will be a success.
Also, I’ll keep the feel size small and light so that the app or the mobile phone doesn’t crash as soon as it is downloaded or is opened.
This app does not intend to harm the user, as its primary purpose is to help him/her.
It is also important to outline, as it is my duty that nothing malicious occurs to the user, while using the app.
This will be tested after the creation of the app, when performance testing will take place.
DESIGN SPECIFICATION
For the manufacturing of this app, I require resources such as time, an app development tool and skills. As I don’t have much experience in app development, I would using my teacher and peers’ feedback as a resource.
The maximum time I need to create this app would be 2 weeks.
For the tool, I have it at my disposal, which is completely free so there isn’t a problem about money. I would be using MIT app inventor.
JUSTIFICATION
This is important to point out as it necessary to coordinate with the resources provided to me, to create this app. It is also important to see where I
need to compromise like how heavy or detailed or
complex I wanted it to be, due to the time and the tool chosen.
This would be tested according to the feedback of the users.
I would like an elegant font for my app, which would catch the eye of the user. In addition, the font size should be large so that it is easy to read.
An SOS button will be inculcated on the main screen.
The screens will not be much cluttered with many entities placed together.
A voice-to-text feature will be added wherever the user is required to type.
There will be an option of a menu on the main screen that will help the user to navigate around the screens of the app.
My app will not be too heavy with complicated technologies and will use easy controls.
The contact us page will have a form for volunteer-sign ups. There will also be a form in the sign up and profile page.
JUSTIFICATION
Required to notify emergency contacts. (See strand iv, Criteria A for justification)

JUSTIFICATION
The app shouldn’t use complicated technologies and should use easy controls, as suggested by the clients and audience.
Required, as the user might not be in the state of typing. (See strand iv, Criteria A for justification)
This will help me get volunteer assistants required. A form in the sign up and profile page is required so that the user responses are saved in a database
I chose the colour scheme keeping in mind the results of the survey and client interview (See appendix A.2)
The font was chosen according to the audience’s preference and mine. Font size needs to be big, keeping in mind the audience, the senior citizens, out of which most of them might have eyesight issues.
The screens should not be cluttered with many entities placed together, as the user interface is to be kept simple and minimalistic, justified by survey and interview.
A menu is a good way of making an app easy to navigate, as stated by my research. (See appendix)
