How would you describe this book?

Formative
Definition: This is a way that the teacher can evaluate students comprehension, learning needs, and progress. These assessments are used to evaluate students during a lesson.
Four Corners: This is a formative assessment because four corners allows for the teacher to check students comprehension and can be used at the end of a lesson.
Think-Pair-Share: This allows the students to think on a higher level, pair up, them share their ideas. This is a formative assessment because teachers can evaluate the students.
Interim/Benchmark
Definition: They evaluate students in a specific grade on their standards and learning goals rather than evaluating their understanding.
MAP:This is used to test students achievements in math and reading which evaluates their understanding.
TAKS: This is a formative assessment because it is taken at the end of the year given by the state to evaluate their understanding.

Diagnostic
Definiton: This is a pre assessment that allows the teacher to determine the students strength, weakness, knowledge, and skills.
Pre-Test:This is an diagnostic assessment because these allow for the teacher to determine what the students strengths and weaknesses are before starting the lesson.
KWL Chart:This is a diagnostic assessment because these charts are used during a lesson/topic to determine what they know throughout the lesson.
Summative
Definiton: This is used to evaluate students learning, skills, and achievements. They normally give these assessments at the end of a unit or project.
Benchmark: This is a summative assessment because it is given at the end of a 6 week to evaluate students achievements throughout the end of the 6 weeks.
Final: This is a summative assessment because finals allows for the teacher to see of the students achieved their learning goals for the year.
