Texture

Coarse hair texture has the largest diameter. It is stronger than fine hair. Medium hair texture is common.
Myth- textured hair is much strong than straight hair. Fact-textured hair has fewer cuticles, so it has to be treated wih more care. When it’s straighten, it could get heat damage.

Myth-textured hair only means very curly or coily hair. Fact-even if it’s straight it is still considered texture.

Myth-Textured hair is harder to lift and have volume. Fact-It can lift especially with different volumes. It just lifts differently.

To test texture feel a single dry strand between areas of the head, front hairline, temple, crown, and nape. Hold each strand securely with one hand while feeling it with the thumb and forefinger.
Density
Density measures the number of individual hair strands on one inch (2.5 square centimeters of scalp).h
Age for hair density matters, more hair is suitable for young than old.

Take strands from weut hair try to pull it apart if it returns to original length it has normal elasticity if it breaks it has low elasticity
