The book A Thousand Splendid suns teaches us how to treat people and women.the examples of making your wife eat rocks because the rice is not cooked long enough is cruel and abusive. in the end justice helped mariam but is she would not have told anyone then she would not have been executed in jail.

- since religion is a big part of my life, this quote stood out to me because in church you are always welcomed and never turned away because of your religion or culture.
- this quote tells me that trusting someone sometimes is not a good idea. sometimes you trust someone because you just see what you want to see in them.
