Identity: is about the way you view yourself or the way other view you.
Group Identity:
can be looked at by the things they all have in common as well as the things they do not.
Group Level Similarities:
Gender
Marital Status
Culture
Age
Race
Disability/Ability
Universal Level:
Something to label us by that we all connect to each other by
WE ARE HUMAN
Therefore we all experience certain things that connect us

death
birth
emotions
usage of symbols
ALL OF THESE MAKE US CONNECT ON A UNIVERSAL LEVEL BECAUSE WE ARE ALL HUMAN.
Personal Identity:
These begin with your family.
Mostly from birth you are raised to learn and know your culture, your language, and your own usage of symbols by learning these things from you family. In a sense they make you who your are.
For example:
Heritage
Race
Cultural Background
Family history
Speach
In a study they used labels to identify someones hearing capabilities, in order to use them and a type of identification

Dual Identification
