Pay differences between men and woman s a very important issue in the work space since a large number of woman with the same job title as a man are being paid less.
various studies indicate that reduced favorable positions that are available for women are the main reasons why there are increased workplace and payment disparities.
I have learnt that gender inequality in the workplace leads to pay differences which fuel gender economic inequality which is reflected by the pay inequalities and the differences in wealth accumulation.
It can occur in many different domains
gender inequality occurs across various domains including careers, political affiliations, education and family life among others
Gender political inequality
the issue of gender inequality in the political domain in the ability of men or women to accumulate wealth determines their muscle in societal powers. Many people usually think that when are mentally stronger and more able to have an important political status.
the differences in wealth accumulation between men and women is a determining factor on the participation of either genders in politics which affects their political economic power.
Solutions
ongoing debate contributes towards finding a solution to gender economic inequality and being able to bridge the gender gaps between extreme wealth accumulation in males and low wealth accumulation in females as well as a higher income concentration in males and a lower income concentration in females.
Woman should try to speak up more, take manners into their own hands.
Increase woman's education attainment
This has already led to a narrowing of the inequality by 5.9%
Glass ceiling
This is the belief that woman, later in their career hit a glass ceiling, which prevent them from reaching a higher leadership position at work.
For many reasons woman tend to shy away from conflict at their workplace.
Most woman at workplace usually run away from conflict and are afraid to speak up for themselves which lead to other taking advantage of that.
