Casablanca is a longer romance film, between a male and female. It was mostly the same, it was just a longer film. One of our friends grandpa was an extra in this film.

The kiss is a short 18 second film produced by Thomas edison. this is the first kiss to be shown in a fim.this film is different from modern day romance films. for example, that was an actual couple that kissed and in modern day it woud be actors. another diffenrece would be that in must old films people who would like the same gender was not really shown in romance films.

love simon is a 1 hour 50 minute romnce film which was realeased in 2018.it can a be considered a modern romance film becuase of the boy who like boys the gender and that is not common to see in older films. this film can be an example of modern romance film because of the technical codes being used. for example, all the close up in recent romance films there has been more close ups than in odler films.
