TRAID is a charity working to stop clothes from being thrown away. We turn clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes.
Repair Cafes create a space for people to come together, gain new skills and extend the life of their much-loved clothes. We provide sewing materials, advice and instruction on how to mend holes, take up hems and sew on buttons to give clothes a new lease of life. Through active mending we aim to divert clothes from landfill by extending the life of our clothes while inspiring people to learn a new skill.
