- - - - Wool is a good choice because it is easy to frog when you make mistakes. It is resilient, but it is not easy to work with in the heat because it is so heavy.
      - Cotton yarn is a good choice, although it is not as resilient as wool so it is not as easy to correct mistakes with. Cotton is lighter than wool and is easier to work with in heat.
      - Acrylic yarn is popular because it is readily available in stores and comes in many different colors. Cheaper acrylics split apart sometimes though so they may not always be as easy to work with.
