Relation to Class: This quote directly relates to several discussions and activities that we have incurred in class. The most prevalent activity being, the Rube Goldberg Machine that we produced in class. When reflecting on this assignment, I found that we had to think on our feet and "recover quickly" from our mistakes to ultimately produce a successful product and we were proud of. Even throughout this ten-minute project, we had the ability to continue to develop the skill of resilience. As we made mistakes, we refined our machine to one, be successful, and two, be one that we were proud of. I felt as if my pride for this machine increase with each failure and addition we made to the project itself and ultimately led to a project that ended up being successful. While reflecting on this assignment, I understood that it wasn't necessarily about the success of the project, rather the ability to recover and become resilient in the face of failure.
