living conditions in medieval times was horrid. In medieval times if you were lucky you'd have a one room house that would have up to a many as 8 people living plus animals. There weren't toilets back then so peasants had to throw poo out of the window.

the magna carta was a document signed by the king agreeing to obey the same laws as everybody else. It was very fair because it meant the king couldn't kill anyone or steal anything and get away with it even though he could do it and no one could stop him.
crime in medieval times was a lot more cruel than it is today. In medieval times if you stole you would have your hand cut off and if you stole someones land or animals you could be stretched from your arms and legs

depopulation
The Black Death caused depopulation because it killed so many people at once

towns started to struggle because of the lack in numbers of working peasants
religion
religion started to collapse because priests told people that if they preyed enough then they would be healed but it didn't work, so people lost belief in god
burying the dead
for some important people there would be proper burials but for most peasants their body would just be dumped in a pile

peasant numbers became low so Europeans went to Africa and took innocent people and made them slaves, people would buy and sell them as if they were property.

the Black Death weakened the church because they lied about praying to god which made people lose belief in religion
