Madhyamaka clearly developed from the Prajnaparamita Sutras and therefore, Sunyata might be considered as Anatta and Anicca taken to its unavoidable logical conclusion, therefore not being an independent teaching. However, as all beings/phenomena are empty of Svabhava and inter-exist, they are neither one nor many, neither individual not indistinguishable, born nor destroyed, pure nor defiled. As all beings inter-exist, we are not truly separate from each other. Truly realising this is enlightenment and liberation from suffering. Today, the Prajnaparamita Sutras remain a significant part of Zen, Vajrayana and other Mahayana schools of Buddhism.
