Dealing with conflict
Dealing with conflict in specific health and social care settings to include GP surgeries hospital wards, residential care homes for elderly, young adults and vulnerable children.
Setting example:
residential care
young adults
if conflict caused, you would have to defuse the situation by using language appropriate for the age, meaning you wouldn't use policies and law language, you would keep it clear anduse more common language so that they can understand more.
elderly:
old people very easily annoyed, so if conflict caused, workers would have to calm down the situation in a way fit for elderly people meaning it would be a slower process.
vunerable children
Conflict between child and parent means workers would have to remove the child from the situation and then reassure them using child friendly language.
Hospital wards: patient disliking the nurse could cause conflict meaning the doctors would have to calm down the patient and bring a new nurse in to fit the patients needs. :
GP surgery: people could become angry with receptionist so workers would have to calmly difuse the situation and explain policies that they must follow.

Setting example:
