student will watch movie for 20min pause and read book for 20min
compare and contrast book with movie

Draw pictures of what they compare from the movie and books
do this process until complete
Read along with Audio recording

During Independent reading the student with have the book along with the audio to follow along
after independent reading student will be asked questions to make sure follow along
Have student read download audio version of book to iPad or computer :
small reading groups
groups of two to three will be with teacher to conduct popcorn reading
popcorn reading is when student reads til they chose to stop then call on classmate to pick up where they left
when finish student and partner will be asked questions and collectively answer
