Comparison and Contrast between Behavior 1 and Behavior 2: While behavior 1 is more related to language appropriateness (which reflects student's understanding of societal formation), behavior 2 can address several issues--emotional stability, imitation of similar behavior at home or elsewhere, and body/social boundaries. Seeing the fundamental difference, I treat behavior 1 with more speaking etiquette and practices and behavior 2 with more multi-facet observation and interventions. For example, if student's bullying is caused by emotional instability, student may be taught with social emotional skills. If student imitates bullying from someone else, some investigation in the family culture and interviews with close family members might be proceeded. If Tier 3 interventions need to be implemented, for both cases, other stakeholders in the school community would need to be involved to direct the student to the right path.
