Nestle is taking water from local Michigan stream and reselling them in bottles with a high price.
Environmental impact:
Water levels are gradually decreasing in the stream and the draining of the stream has resulted in wildlife losing their homes
re packaging the water is an unnecessary use of plastic bottles (plastic is harmful to the environment).
Socio Economical problems
People can't afford water that they used to not have to pay anything for
Citizens are losing a water source that has been there for centuries
They were promised jobs by Nestle but they were left with nothing after Nestle started draining streams
