Location and Geography
Depending on your location, it could change the amount of money you made. Because the Upcountry doesn't really use slaves, they have less money than the Lowcountry.
In the Upcountry, crime rates are be higher than the in Lowcountry because there isn't a lot of law enforcement. To fix this, they made regulators.
Based on where different native american tribes were located, it varied what they ate. For example, the Cherokee ate fish, where as the Yemassee ate clams and oysters.

Change and Conflict
The English people really wanted more religious freedom. To solve this, they went out to find new land and found a place where they could believe what they wanted.

There was a mass rebellion from the African slaves called the Stono Rebellion. 75 people died so there were laws set in place to limit slave rights.
The early settlers were trying to find people to work on their plantations. Both indentured servants and Native Americans did not work out so they enslaved Africans to do their work.

When first starting off, the colonists needed people to work for them. They tried to hire indentured servants to do the work.
Colonist felt as though their voices weren't being heard with the Proprietors. Because of this they introduced a royal colony.
There was a lot of crime in the Upcountry and no one to stop it. Because of this, Regulators became a thing.
