Triangle trade made it easier to get money and resources.
More resources were acquired by having connections with other nations
More money made English nations prosper and make there plantations and colonies
Location/geography
If you lived on the coast of one of the southern colonies you had a higher chance of working on or owning a plantation
If you lived in Africa you had a chance of being enslaved by the white man
New lands had resources that were discovered and were worth a large amount of money

At first SC was a proprietary colony but they were not being represented well so they made it a royal colony so the king would support them
In the beginning the slaves made mostly rice and indigo but shifted towards cotton and tobacco
When the slaves first started to overpopulate the white people they caused the Stono rebellion that made the slave codes
After the Stono Rebellion African slaves lost a large amount of there power including not being able to meet without white supervision
The regulators originally were the police/law enforcers but once the circuit court act they lost there power
In the beginning South Carolina was controlled by lord proprietors but the people wanted to be ruled by the king so they had say in parliament
