There was little law in the Upcountry so the people took it into their own hands. However, this could have gotten out of hand so the Circuit Court Act was established.
The Proprietors weren't really doing much for the people so the people felt ignored. Eventually, this led to the king ruling over them.
When the slaves revolted in Stono (Stono rebellion) slave laws were added to stop revolts from happening.

Location/Geography
When the Africans were brought over to work as slaves, their culture started to mix in with European culture.
Depending on where a colony was would determine what it was like. The New England colonies had good relationships with the Natives while the Southern Colonies had tried to enslave them.
When the Europeans first came over, they brought their culture to the New World and spread it.
