Unit 1 Themes
Conflict and change
A conflict and change example that I thought of was the Regulators. They tried to make law and justice for the Upcountry but , it changed because the Circuit court act stopped it .

Slaves weren't allowed to talk with their own kind by themselves . The Americans think their planning something to escape but it's just a religious meeting. They wouldn't let them do that until they decided to change that and have an American stay with them . Kinda like adult supervision.
Location/ Geography
my last example is the Carolina's. Their located with many goods, lots of great land and good weather
2nd example is the Spanish, french, and English. They are all close together but have differences between each other.
An example of location/Geography is the 3 colonies. The New England colony, Southern Colony, and the Middle colony . They are apart of location/geography because their all like the same colony with different kinds of people, continents and weather / living style.

Global Connections
The 1st thing that came into mind for global connections is the Triangular Trade. The reason I had that in mind because it trades world wide between 3 colonies/countries back and fourth to each other .
-
Another example that I thought of was Mercantilism. Mercantilism is also the benefits of trading worldwide from other nations and having imports and exports. But Mercantilism minimizes how much it gives depending on the nation.
My last thought about global connections was the Agricultural Economy. That's a plantation system that a state or countries use to use the knowledge of plantation to grow crops.
Power/Authority
A 2nd example of power/ authority is a king / queen and their people in the colonies .The King has such a higher level than the people , that's why he has a higher power.
My 3rd and last example of power/authority is The mother country vs all the other colony. I chose this because The mother country give to the New England colony, Southern colony , and the middle colony because that's like their natural resource , but the colonies look up to that country because they need stuff from it and if they do 1 thing bad no more resources for them.
-
An example of power / Authority is slaves and their owner. Rich people had own slaves back then. They used them to do their work , especially to farm.
