Unit 1 Themes
Another Example is when European Explorers would go to lands and the conflict would be them coming in and giving them disease. Then the CHANGE would be them
One example would be when the European explorers would go to other lands and raid their land and then they would own the people and land. Also some would just send them to country's and CHANGE their live's
-
Another example wad the Stone Rebellion because there were people that wanted a change so they used conflict and tried to fight against the slave owners. Then after the change was they had a Slave Code passed and they were more strict to the slaves.
Location/Geography
in the low country people were affected by having a good education almost everyone who had farmland had slaves and many laws were put in place and a lot of trades happened cause they were closer to the ocean
Living in America led to people to have more religous freedom and Not having a government That was located in America also depending if you live in North or south you will have more plantations in the south and slim to none up nirth
In the upcountry people were affected by not having that good of an education less slaves than low country and no laws
-
Global Connections
Éliza Pinckney father would send here seeds from Europe to grow on their plantation in South Carolina
Europeans would trade with each other cause not everyone’s land had the same thing for example maybe Spain and Denmark
Triangular trade would be one because it’s a global trade inclueding Africa,America, and England.
-
Power and Authority
England controlled Its colony’s and took there natural resources for barely anything and then sold the manufactured good for excruciating amounts
Another example would be them taking people of different races enslaving them and also r there skin white and teaching them only white culture.
One example would be getting slaves and controlling them. That's power because they are over them and empowering them and telling them what to don’t wł
