Why do people discriminate ?
Not to be the center of the attention.
They are jealous.
To feel superior.
To make sure, you're not the one people make fun of mob mentality.
They are afraid.
To gain popularity.
Not to risk being (left) alone.
They don't agree with certain ideas.
They were raised around people who were like them, so they may be afraid when they see differences.
They're not open minded or used to it.
To conform / to fit.
Imitation.
To feel powerful.
What can someone be discriminated against ?
Religion.
For being different.
For their skin colour origin.
Having an opinion.
For their gender.
For their sexuality / sexual orientation. (LGBTQ+)
For their nationality.
For their appearance / tastes / the way they look or act.
How can discrimination manifest itself ?
On social networks.
Violence.
Insults.
To harass / bullying.
"Jokes".
