Fifth coalition (1809): It was integrated by the United Kingdom and Austria. Between victories and defeats, the French manage to win. This allowed France to achieve greater ownership of territory in the European continent.
Sixth coalition (1812-1814): It was composed of the United Kingdom, Russia, some German states, Austria, Sweden and Prussia. Napoleon manages to invade Russia, but abandons it for the maintenance costs of the troops. He also achieves victories against Prussia. However, in view of the number of battles, he loses some clashes that set him back, losing control over Spain. After the allies entered Paris, Napoleon is forced to resign from power and is exiled to the island of Elba.
Seventh coalition (1815): The United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, Austria, Prussia, the Netherlands and some German states. After Napoleon enters Paris and is re-established in power, the seventh coalition is formed to face it. Although he achieved some successes in battle, he could not win the Battle of Waterloo. After this defeat Napoleon returns to France, but does not receive the expected political support and is forced to resign again from power, being exiled to the island of Saint Helena.
