My Periodontal Philosophy By: Samantha Walsh
The purpose of dental hygiene is to help maintain or restore a patients oral health status, with routine dental visits to remove plaque, biofilm, and calculus. While doing this dental hygiene is to also educate the community so that they understand why dental hygiene is important for them and the oral systemic link.
