        Dr. Mario said that shock is a systemic reaction of hypersensitivity of a serious and sometimes fatal nature, as a result of exposure to a sensitizing substance such as a drug, a vaccine, certain foods, an allergenic extract, a poison or some chemical substance. It can develop within seconds from the moment of exposure and is generally characterized by respiratory distress and vascular collapse. (1)
        
        Grades:
        
        1 Cutaneous signs, generalized erythema, urticaria and angioedema.
        
        2 Cutaneous signs, hypotension, tachycardia and
        respiratory distress
        
        3 Cardiovascular collapse, arrhythmia tachycardia / bradycardia and bronchospasm.
        
        4 Cardiac /respiratory arrest or death.
