reflection
A Thousand Splendid Suns shows us the oppression and violence the people of Afghanistan are subject to everyday. Woman are disregarded and have their whole lives planned for them at birth and the people are so used to violence they can go through the whole day as normal knowing death could come any momment.
Final thoughts
I think A Thousand Splendid Suns was a good book but was slow at the beginning and had trouble keeping my attention but it had a satisfying ending that made up for the slow start.
