        Although Antoine Dobson himself is now happy and fine with the attention. We must understand that many women in similar situations are scarred the rest of their lives.
        
        Also to put why this passionate interview in perspective and the perils of living in a impoverished area. Another girl was attacked just a few days later in the same area.

        The critical aspect to understand with the joke is the fact of how people imitate Antoine Dobson with both voice and exaggerated movement. On the surface, an interview with the brother of a rape victim is not funny at all. When Antoine Dobson states, "Hide yo kids hide your wife they raping everyone up in here" It's not a joke but rather the result of living in impoverished areas.         In an interview with NPR Dobson states, "I have done interviews on the news before ... When this happened, I was like, wow, I can't believe it went crazy like this," says Dodson, adding that people now stop him on the street and call him the "YouTube guy." (Source 6).
        
        Before his fame, NPR states, "The Dodson family was of modest means. The 24-year-old is the oldest of six children and says helping support his family and protecting them from potential dangers of inner-city life is nothing new" (Source 6).
        
        "Others criticize what they see as a caricature of a poor, openly gay black man living in the ghetto" (Source 6).
        
        In this case, however, Antoine Dobson is actually really thankful for the attention and even says the song helped his family cope with the tragedy (source 6).
        
        Essence did a follow up on Dobson in 2018 stating, "Still, Dodson says the money from becoming a viral sensation helped his family move out of subsidized housing and now, he’s giving back to the community by working in the Huntsville School District" (Source 10).
