For example prejudging the person your speaking to won't be interested in what you say so you change the way you output the information
Self doubt in what you say can affect your communication

For example if an individual was born without a jaw or is mute you may have to use written communication instead of verbal

Language
Definition
Something like google translate can simply solve this problem if it's non verbal communication
If one speaks french and one speaks spanish they can't communicate
If someone speaks a different language you won't be able to understand them
Emotional
Definition
Too emotional because of an event therefore cannot communicate
Very important information being discussed therefore handled with care
Fear of what being said can be used against you

Could be different cultures come in the way and affect your communication
Could be the language an individual speaks is different to the other
Cultural barriers are a result of living in an ever shrinking world

Not able to get along with others maybe because of past relationships
Your skills to communicate with one another either because personal issues or experience issues

A male for example may be to shy to speak to a female which will drastically affect the communication going on
