By filling the wells on the caravan route near Medina with sand, the Muslims lured Abū Sufyān's army to fight at Badr in March 624CE.
Battle of the Trench

The battle of the trench was a night-long attack of Medina by Arab and Jewish tribes. The strength of the confederate armies was projected at approximetaly 10,000 men with horses and camels to help them in the fight. However, the Medani defenders numbered 3,000. In this battle they dug a trench / channel to protect the muslims from the enemies.
Treaty of Hudaybiyyah

If anyone wanted to join Quraysh they could. However, if Quraysh people want to join Prophet Mohammed they cant. They also would have truce for 10 years. The main motive of the prophet was that he hoping that the pagans of Quraysh and Arab nations would accept the message of Islam peacefully. He also wanted to reunite with their relatives and friends in their hometown.
Conquest of Mecca

On December 11, 629 CE, Mecca was opened for and conquered by Muslims. The idols of the tribal gods at Kaaba were destroyed and Prophet Muhammad declared Mecca a sanctuary for everyone. Today, Mecca is Islam’s holiest city.
