Stable food supply(section 3)
Irrigation systems helped create a stable food supply.
Sumerians started an irrigation system so they could be provided with water.
Another invention was the plow that helped them prepare the land planting faster.
System of Writing (section 9)
Cuneiform developed in the 2400 BCE
Cuneiform only had 700 symbols and was simple for scribes to use
pictographs were the earliest form of writing tin the Sumer
Government (section 5)
Theses duties were important because they protected their cities from enemies and made sure people were safe
Sumerians believed that their gods chose their king but that meant they had to obey the rules of god
Some duties of the government were to enforce the laws ,build temples ,made sure irrigation systems were maintained and more
Social Structure (section 4)
Some jobs that were at the top were goverment official,kings but those were the best jobs at that time

Arts and culture (section 7)
There was 3 types of artist in the sumer and they were Metal workers ,Architects ,Musicians they all made beautiful art
Art was very important in the sumer because they believed it brought joy to the gods and people alike
Sumerian art was mainly about exploring and supporting relationships between people and the gods, and plants and animals
Religion (section 6)
A religion system includes both beliefs, usually in god or gods, and forms of worship
Sumerians expressed their religious beliefs by building statues and also by believing that there gods were very pleased when people showed signs of devotion,or love and obedience
In the sumer religious briefs influenced every part of their daily life
Technology (section 8)
The arch where also part of technology they added strength and beauty to buildings as you can see above
Most Sumerians used the wheel to carry heavy loads at the time
The wheel was also used for the chariot to battle with and was useful
