Why is "Learning by Doing" important? (These skills include…

        We learn about the physical properties of materials and how they behave with the laws of physics, without directly studying physics. By putting materials together in different objects we learn in a practical way about hardness, friction, torsion, tension, resistance to liquids, density, to name a few examples.
        
        DESIGN
        
        Design becomes an important ingredient. Without taking design classes, there is a first approach to aesthetics, because we want the product to be beautiful and functional: whatever we are designing must serve its purpose.
        
        MOTRICITY AND SPATIALTY
        
        Another very important element is motor and spatial rationing. When I am assembling objects, when I am "doing", things have to fit together; and for this it is necessary to develop certain spatial abilities. It is not easy for ideas in the head to become a drawing in 2 dimensions and then a 3-dimensional object.
    - - When we are "doing" we start from an idea to arrive at a result. So, we develop a hidden skill which is to learn to [put together a plan’. I do not mean that I have to use a project management or productivity tool to write down my tasks or to design a timetable.
    - - Learning by doing also develops another skill: logical thinking: "if I do this, this happens", "if I use this, this happens". This applies to materials, processes, forces and more. This thought form is a fundamental skill for our life; learning logic and even some programming is one of the most important things one can learn. This helps us to optimize processes, automate and dedicate valuable time to the things we really care about
