February 1917, began in Petrograd the old capital of Russian Empire
They protested due to the lack of food, they were oppressed

Arrested the provincial government by launching a 'coup d'etat' and going into the winter palace, after that they took lead
It was a violent revolution due to police men shooting the rebels, some got killed
