SOI
Harry :
In the Statement of Inquiry, My interpretation is that things that our ancestors have created can show us the culture and the lives of which they had lived in can reflect the changes in our culture by comparing the differences of how life was like in the past to what it's like in the present with a perspective from the shoes of the ancestors and someone living in the modern world.
Kibi
In my interpretation of the SOI, I would say the artefacts left by our ancestors shows us their past lives while also highlighting the long-lasting impact of the world today. It makes us reflect on how cultures have evolved nowadays simply by comparing our daily lives and our ancestors' past lives.
Cal
I think that any thing can be an artefact as long as it has value, can be money value, time value, historical or more, I think that the most important value is impact
senpai
my interpretation of SOI is it's telling us : A play on the word "artifact" that emphasizes, not only the postive intended and unintended "effects" the arts have in our daily environments region and world, but also the long term and lasting impact the arts have in helping define and describe out culture community nation and world.
Cultural artefacts can reflect change(s) in contemporary individual and social conventions with a point of view.
