Diya is my mother. She promises to always love me no matter what happens, or no matter how many mistakes I make. In addition, she promises to help me in whichever way she can throughout my life, as well as teach to me a smart person regarding academics as well as in life. For example, I had procrastinated on my first theology project Freshman year. My mom had helped me with prior projects, but told me she wouldn't help me ever again if I needed help due to procrastinated. It was the day before the project was due, and I had nothing. I begged my mom and although she was mad and disappointed in me, she stayed up until one o clock in the morning helping me finish.

Harini is my best friend. She promises like my mom to help me out whenever I need it. She promises to be there for me emotionally and physically when I need a friend to talk to, or simply just to be my cheerleader. Most importantly though, as much as she loves me, she promises to keep me in check whenever I make mistakes. For example, in the fourth grade I was arguing with this girl named Aliyah, and I was compiling about how annoying I though she was to Harini. After weeks of compiling, Harini pulled me aside and told me that I was rude and needed to apologize. She used her position as my best friend to help me grow instead of just agreeing with me.

Shreya has been by friend since the third grade. she promises to never let me grow up to fast whenever I feel like I need to be doing something more in life. For example, I was ranting about how I was stressing about getting into a good college while I was at her house, and she calmed be down by putting on High School Musical and getting me ice-cream, which made me feel so much better.

Nahla is my dog. She promises to love me unconditionally at every single moment. For example, last year, I was having a horrible day. I had three tests in a week and I was stressed out. I had not washed my hair in a while due to the studying. Overall, I was feeling horrible. She came up to my room and cowered her head in my lap, and licked my face.

Nina is like my older sister. I can tell her anything and she would leave everything to help me. She loves me more than anything. She promises to not to judge any of my actions and mistakes, and help me before she lectures me. For example, she spent the day at my house, and I hung out with my friends afterwards. I came home two hours after my curfew and she covered for me while I was out.

Amira is another one of friends at Moreau. She promises to be there for me and help me with homework and studying when I need it. For example, I had procrastinated on a Spanish test, and in ten minutes she made a quizlet for me to study off of before I took the test.

Mock trial is a club I'm a part of at school. The club promises to help me learn new skills and grow overall as a person. For example, I had trouble with public speaking, but ever since Mock Trial, I am comfortable presenting, talking in front of large groups of people, and coming up with convincing arguments in short spans of time.

Anika has been my friend since I was three years old. She promises to always be there no matter the distance between us, as well allow me to be comfortable telling her anything. For example, ever since high school, we have both been super busy and don't live too close to each other. So, we hadn't seen each other for about two-thirds of year. but when we finally met, it wasn't awkward and we caught up on all we missed about each other. It was refreshing.
