Regular if possible but better to be late than unsafely given

Toilet don't want a mess

Encourage the pt to call so you can change linen once you've got them to toilet.

Put things in the room when you can for an admission

Discharge is by 10 if possible

then pain relief if necessary

Never leave a pt in toilet after GA

If possible do OBS first for BP

Review plan regularly

look at the time often so you don't loose track

Tick what's been done

Leave space between pt for Clarity.

Delegate where two priority pt can be separated eg with one patient in the toilet who has had a hip replacement and 1x assist and a post op patients 1/2 hourly observations who is not stable.

BREAKS at scheduled time to aim for.

TALK to PT When do they like a shower?? etc
