Connective Tissue

Muscle tissue is a soft tissue that composes muscles in animal bodies

is one of four major classes of tissues and makes up the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system

It develops from the Mesoderm and it is found in between other tissues everywhere in the body, including the nervous system

lines the outer surfaces of organs and blood vessels throughout the body, as well as the inner surfaces of cavities in many internal organs

Is the material or protoplasm within a living cell excluding the nucleus and it contains molecules such as enzymes which are responsible for breaking down waste and also aid in metabolic activity

Is a microscopic membrane of lipids and proteins which forms the external boundary of the cytoplasm of a cell. The function of the plasma membrane is to protect the cell from its surroundings

The nucleus is an organelle found in most Eukaryotic cells and only the cells of advanced organisms, known as eukaryotes, have a nucleus

Is the movement of ions or molecules across a cell membrane into a region of higher concentration

Is a movement of ions and other atomic or molecular substances across cell membranest

Is a type of cell division that reduces the chromosome number by half creating 4 haploid cells from each genetically distinct from the parent cell that gave rise to them

Is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei

Passive transport is a movement of ions and other atomic substances across cell membranes without need of energy but Active transport does not require and put of cellular energy because it is instead driven by the tendency of the system to grow in entropy
