WHY
People needs bridges for crossing over a river or valley or any place that cars can go through. Sometimes, bridges are just roads but on different levels, so that more cars can go at the same time.
WHO
The first inventor Mother Nature itself. Strength and endurance of a bridge depends on support of the both ends. Later man improved using fallen logs and branches to form the first man made bridges. First man belonged to the Greek civilization. The first mentionable bridge still in use is the Arkadiko Bridge of Peloponnese of Greece which was used for chariots.
WHAT
Bridges are structures that are built over a river, seas, or others, and they allow people or vehicles to cross from one side to the other." I bridge may be built with stone and wood but now most of it is made of concrete.
