failure
stronger trade unions = higher wages & shorter working hours = cost of labour is very expensive for employers, and they're not getting much out of it (shorter working hours) = in order to remain profitable, prices must rise = inflation = nobody can afford these products = the company may close, cut wages, or fire employees to remain profitable, which creates an even bigger problem
