Louis Dantes (father): Endmonds father who dantes has a great realationship with. he comes to the betrothal feast and depends on dantes for money. He dies of greif after dantes fails to return home from prison
Mercedes: Initially she is betrothed to dantes but she marries her cousin Fernad after she is convinced that Dantes is never returning. she loves dantes and would have rathered marry him.
Caderousse; The most feckless of the conspirators, Caderousse is a jealous and cowardly man. He does not have the courage to stand up to the other plotters when Danglars initially condemns Dantes. He is poor, has a sick wife and owns an Inn and is still a bad person. He attempts to rob the count and ends up being killed.
