Defination

A small,hard deposit that form in the kidneys and is often painful when passed.

kidney stone are hard deposits of minerals and acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine.

Sign and Symptoms

Severe pain in the groin and/or side

vomitting

Blood in urine

white blood cells or pus in the urine

Reduce amount of urine excreted

Burning sensation during urination

persistent urge to urinate

Fever and chills if there is an infection

Management

Individual maybe rehydrated via an intravenous(IV)tube.

Anti-inflammatory medication may also be adiministered.

Antiemetic medication can be used in people expriencing nausea and vomiting.

Give pain relieve

Drinking water throughout the day.

Give diet low in salt and animal protein.

Adiminster alpha blocker,to relaxes the muscles in your ureter

Avoid giving vitamin C
