newtons laws
1st: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
A book lying on a table or a table lying in a room, they will not change their position until an external force acts on it. The other part of the law is “if a body is in uniform motion in a straight line it will continue its state until it is acted upon an external force
2nd: The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
If you use the same force to push a truck and push a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck, because the car has less mass. It is easier to push an empty shopping cart than a full one, because the full shopping cart has more mass than the empty one.
centripetal
A centripetal force is a force that makes a body follow a curved path. Its direction is always orthogonal to the motion of the body and towards the fixed point of the instantaneous center of curvature of the path.
