Combination of ultrasound, Ct and MRI scans, along with careful history .

PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
The tumor usually arises from the tubules and is prone to grow into renal veins and quickly spread to the renal pelvis, where it would present with painless haematuria.

Adenocarnicoma may be a result of metastasis from cancer of the colon and prostate and also cancer of the bladder.
