Paraphimosis 
Definition
Occurs when a tight foreskin , once retracted , cannot be returned to its normal position . The foreskin lies behind the glans penis.
Pathophysiology
Failure to return the foreskin to its normal position results in impeded circulation , which causes the glans to swell rapidly.
