A state of well being through which an individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope effectively with the stressors of life, is able to work productively and can make a contribution to the community.
MENTALLY HEALTHY A general positive state of well being where the individual can cope effectively and manage life's challenges, is able to work productively, strives for goals and potential and is able to have a sense of connection with others and the community

MENTAL DISORDER/ILLNESS A combination of thoughts, feelings and behaviours associated with significant personal distress and impaired ability to function effectively in everyday life.
