Math Pre-Assessment to check prior knowledge: The teacher will give an online quiz HERE at the beginning of the class to check the prior knowledge of students.
Group of 5 students who could recognize numbers and count objects from 1-10 with little hesitation.These students who understand the concept and need an extension to the activity.
Extension of the lesson will allow these students to continue learning new skill while the class will learn the same skills.
Strategy: This center will have number cards from 1-15 or 1-20 and students will be asked to arrange them in order. They will have to take the pic and upload it on Seesaw. Students can work in pairs and provide feedback to each other.

Assessment: Peer review or the teacher can check class Seesaw and mark the progress in the Google sheet (HERE).

Group of 12 students who have some knowledge. These students could recognize the numbers from 1-10 but they could not count the objects. They need more practice.
These students will be applying their current knowledge of recognizing and counting numbers from 1-10.
Strategy : This center will have number cards and some shape manipulative. The student can pick a number card and a shape. He/she will have to draw that many shapes. Example: Student will pick a number card (3) and shape (circle). He/she will draw 3 circles. Students are asked to take a picture of their work and upload it on Seesaw.

Assessment : The teacher will collect the work samples and update the progress in the Google sheet (HERE). Or
The teacher can check pics/videos on Seesaw (ePortfolio).

Group of 5 students who have limited knowledge. These students neither recognized the numbers from 1-5 nor counted the object properly. The teacher will simplify the instructions and re-teach numbers from 1-5 only.

Strategy The teacher will put some number cards and Unifix cubes in a sensory bin with kinetic sand. The teacher will ask the student to do the following and take a picture/video and upload it on Seesaw: Pick a number card and make a tower using that many Unifix cubes.
