        Little Big Horn(1876)-A battle between Natives and farmers over a grassy plain. Custer's last stand is also a name for this battle because of the fact that it was the Natives last attempt to keep their way of life. This is significant because of the fact that they were fighting for the land of Montana. Within Montana are rivers, land and minerals that the farmers needed.
