Hobbes
-
Are people naturally cruel, greedy, and selfish (Hobbes) or are people basically reasonable and moral (Locke)? Explain.
In such condition... the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.
No inventions, art, or crops

People are naturally cruel, greedy, and selfish
This is because humans are highly terriotiral and are attracted to power since the begginning of human kind

Right or Wrong
But would humans ever experience being in the wrong? This is because if people could naturally differentiate from right to wrong, they would knowingly avoid the wrong. If people never experienced “the wrong” would there ever be a time for reflection or self-improvement? However, if humans do not instinctively know right from wrong, how has society been able to create labels for right and wrong or good and bad? This could have possibly been derived through emotion and the psychology behind sympathising over people. Likewise, religion may have played a critical role in classifying rights from wrong.

Locke
Are people naturally cruel, greedy, and selfish (Hobbes) or are people basically reasonable and moral (Locke)? Explain.
In most cases, people are naturally cruel, greedy and selfish because humans are highly territorial and are attracted to power
However, people tend to learn from those mistakes that they have made through certain experiences or because of the community
As what Hani said people were born to be that cruel, greedy and selfish. The reason that are doing it because of natural rights. They fight to survive.

Democracy
-
-
In Hobbes point of view, people are given the right to revolt or rebel if the government does not meet the expectations and demands of the social contract.
Natural rights
-
-
There are three natural rights that Locke had imagined. There are Life, liberty and property.
Life is the fact that people are desperate to survive and might fight to survive. Liberty means people want freedom as much as possible to decide something. Property want to own things that help people to survive-land, food and tools.
