Dealing with Dyslexia as part of the Special Education Process at my School, by Daniel Miller
Informing
Certificate: Poland will provide learners (if diagnosed early enough) with a particular disability with a certificate to guarantee assistance to students until they are 18.
School: The teachers can be informed through our school online database (LIbrus), through letters from the school psychologist, or teachers can also inform psychologist if something comes to light
Signs: most problems in my school are related to learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Some of the warning signs are problems reading, mixing letters and mathematical symbols, some speech problems, messy/illegible writing, problems focusing. source: Mayo clinic staff (2019) Dyslexia, symptoms and causes, retrieved from: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/dyslexia/symptoms-causes/syc-20353552
